The Association runs a range of regular events that members’ and non-members are welcome to attend and participate in. These include Networking and Education at Members’ premises, Regional Events held within other Out of Home Shows.
In this extraordinary year the BSA Executive Committee (EC) has been holding a virtual meeting every Wednesday afternoon. This proactive stance has seen a range of new initiatives created, including the successful launch of our emagazine Something’s Brewing. The magazine is available from the 3rd of each month and the December edition is here and is sent to over 6, 500 contacts.
Our January 2021 edition will focus on ‘New Year – New Horizons for Business’. So, this is an opportunity to tell us how your business will be preparing for 2021 and the success stories from the last few months of 2020. Please ensure you send your stories and images to Amy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
From the early days of the pandemic our Advice Hub was built which offered guidance and recommendations to our Members’ and the Hospitality industry too. This has been updated on a regular basis. To run alongside this has been recommendations from industry leading experts on how to keep coffee and tea equipment in first-rate working condition during the start-ups and shutdowns.
Linked to this has been our ‘Restarted Trading – Suppliers Guide’ which can connect solutions to our members and supporters. Across these areas, the Association can direct you to trusted supply sources with off the shelf ready and bespoke solutions for your business.
We have also worked with Peter Backman who has offered us a weekly spotlight on the challenges of the Hospitality industry and how they have responded.
The EC has also taken the opportunity to focus on the benefits of Association membership and many of them have been outlined above. However, we recommend you read the full list of 10 on our Membership Benefits page.
