The Association runs a range of regular events that members’ and non-members are welcome to attend and participate in. These include Networking and Education at Members’ premises, Regional Events held within other Out of Home Shows.
The first BSA PopUp Show of 2020 will be on Wednesday, 18th March in the historic setting of Bury Lodge near Stansted which has featured in Channel 4 documentaries. BSA chairman Steve Slark, said: “Following our very successful event in 2019 we are pleased to announce our first PopUp Show for 2020. There have been 3 Executive Committee Meetings in 2019 with the last meeting held at Cafe2U, based in Garforth. Our next EC meeting will be held in late January/early February 2020 and members’ of the Association are welcome to join us at our EC Meetings. The Association’s 2019 Annual General Meeting was held at Fracino in Birmingham on the 11th July 2019. Members and non-members enjoyed a full afternoon of discussion and debate on a wide range of subjects. These included the successful launch of the BSA’s web site in March 2019 and the continued growth and success of the BSA’s Barista Skills training initiatives in the UK and our International Centres based in Greece & Nepal.
