A high-powered line-up of speakers for the BSA’s PopUp exhibition on Wednesday, 18th March includes coffee market guru Anya Marco – a leading authority on UK coffee trends.
Anya’s talk will be based on her 100 Trends for the Coffee and Food Industry 2020 Report and she will be picking out the ‘Top Ten Trends’ that will be affecting our industry in the next few years. There will be an opportunity to discuss the trends further after her talk

Recognised within the industry as one of the UK’s leading coffee shop market experts, Anya Marco has 25 years of experience. Her early career includes being mentored by Sinclair Beecham at Pret A Manger, followed by several years with Starbucks UK before becoming the MD of her own foodservice supply business.
During her time as Executive Director for Allegra World Coffee Portal, Anya authored definitive business publications including Project Café UK, Europe, US, Russia, Ireland and Asia, positioning her with unrivalled global market knowledge. In addition, she has authored reports on the Eating Out industry and was one of the first to publicly size the UK eating out market creating the model that other consultancies now use. She advised and supported major names in the coffee shop industry.
She is a formidable commercial due diligence expert and has contributed to investment deals for leading private equity firms and hedge funds including recently Sachem Head in preparation for the sale of Costa Coffee by Whitbread. Her network reach is significant, as a result, she is highly trusted and regarded within the industry.
